Darren Tomasini
Darren is an Experienced International Financial Adviser working at a high level in the financial services industry since 2010. Previously working in prestigious companies such as Citibank, Morgans, VISIS Private Wealth and most recently Retirewell. Darren also served as a Partner as an International Financial Adviser for the acclaimed British firm St James Place, based in China until April 2020. In 2024, Darren launched his own firm for the first time and wanted to integrate all the best qualities he has learnt from all the firms and mentors he has worked with over the years into his firm, this way he can ensure his clients are receiving a premium service. Darren has a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance, with a double major in Corporate Finance & Investment Analysis. He is an accredited Self-Managed Super Fund Specialist Adviser with the Self-Managed Super Fund Association of Australia and is a certified Justice of the Peace. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, a Diploma in Financial Services (including Margin Lending and Gearing Strategies), a Certificate 4 in Finance & Mortgage Broking, and Tier 1 Foreign Exchange General Advice.
Darren is currently serving as an Advice Ambassador for the Financial Advice Association of Australia, where he serves to help advise Australian Politian’s on building better policy and legislation which helps to serve the Australian people in Financial Services.
Darren is a former Army Reservist in the Finance Department/Unit in Army Pay Corp conducting auditing and compliance of Army public and non-public monies.
Whilst living and working in China, Darren served as a Committee Member for the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation in China, raising funds for charities such as Heart for Heart, which gave life saving heart surgery to Chinese children from low socio-economic households. Along with providing financial support to orphanages and programs which provide food and washing services to the homeless in China.
